Stones we carve
Every stone below is cut and finished to order. Photographs of completed work replace these panels as each installation is shot.
Every stone is carved to order. Bring a photograph or a drawing to the office and we will match it, or work from one of the shapes above.
Material, shape and lettering
Three decisions. We quote once all three are settled, and the price does not move afterwards.
The material
Granite in grey or black holds an engraving longest and needs no upkeep. Marble is softer and warmer, and suits lettering with fine detail.
The shape
Full stone, half stone, upright, slant or a kerb set around the grave. The graveyard or traditional authority may set a limit on height — we check that before cutting.
The lettering
Engraving in Tshivenda or English, in the same inscriptional lettering used on this website. Photographs, crosses and emblems can be set into the stone.
The day the stone is shown
An unveiling is its own occasion, and Cudos arranges it the way we arrange a funeral: tent, chairs, decoration and programmes at the graveside, on the date the family chooses.

Six to ten weeks
From the day the engraving is approved to the day the stone stands at the grave. Tell us the unveiling date you have in mind and we will say plainly whether it can be met.
Stones included in a burial plan are carved at no further cost. A stone bought on its own is quoted per material, size and lettering.

Send this and a consultant will come back to you on WhatsApp with a price and a lead time. An approximate unveiling date is fine — we work backwards from it.
